Which to pick - whole bean or ground?

Whole bean coffee offers the ultimate in freshness, preserving its rich aroma and flavor until you’re ready to grind it. This ensures each cup is as vibrant and satisfying as possible. However, pre-ground coffee is a convenient and reliable option for those who value simplicity and speed in their daily routine. Whether you choose whole bean or pre-ground, the key is selecting what best fits your lifestyle and delivers the perfect coffee experience for you.

Where does Red Phoenix coffee come from?

The world’s coffee-growing regions, often referred to as the “Coffee Belt,” are located near the equator, where the tropical climate provides the ideal environment for coffee cultivation. These regions offer:

Optimal Altitudes: Higher elevations with cooler temperatures slow the growth of coffee cherries, allowing the beans to develop more complex flavors and aromas.

Rich, Fertile Soil: Volcanic and nutrient-dense soils found in many of these areas provide essential minerals that enhance the quality of the coffee beans.

Perfect Climate: The consistent balance of sunlight, rain, and humidity creates conditions that are essential for growing vibrant and healthy coffee plants.

Diverse Ecosystems: The unique flora in these regions contribute to natural biodiversity, often resulting in distinct taste profiles unique to each growing region.

What's the best way to brew my coffee?

Our opinion – there are many coffee brewing methods, but some methods truly elevate the coffee experience. Single cup pour-over devices, such as the Chemex or Hario V60, offer exceptional control over water flow and extraction, delivering a clean, nuanced cup that highlights the coffee’s natural flavors. AeroPress is another standout, known for its versatility and ability to produce smooth, rich coffee in a matter of minutes. For those who enjoy a full-bodied cup with a bold texture, the French press is a timeless favorite.

How should I store my coffee at home

Proper coffee storage is key to preserving its freshness and flavor. While some believe the freezer is best to store coffee, we think this popular myth doesn’t hold up. Although freezing coffee can reduce oxidation, after a month in the freezer the coffee will begin to diminish much of it’s flavor and aroma. Instead, store your coffee between 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit using an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Remember coffee’s greatest enemies are oxygen, heat, moisture and light. Proper storage will ensure your coffee stays at its best until you’re ready to brew.
